Architectural and Engineering Services or Consulting
  Annual Announcement 2009 (January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009)
to solicit interested consultants to perform architectural, landscape architectural, engineering, environmental, land surveying, construction project management services, and other facility related services.

Each year an applicant pool is created from firms responding to The University of San Francisco’s yearly Announcement.  If the firm is deemed qualified, it is added to UCSF’s applicant pool.  The UCSF campus has two (2) offices: Capital Programs & Facilities Management (CPFM) and Medical Center Office of Design and Construction, which hire consultants.  These two (2) offices operate independently from one another.  For this reason, there will be two (2) rosters of consultants for UCSF, one at each office.

A.
Consultants who are interested in providing consulting services must submit a copy of the Consultant Profile Form AND the Statement of Qualifications Form to UCSF Medical Center or CPFM.  If you would like to be considered for providing services at both locations, please mail a set of these documents to each office.  See the forms below.

Please fill in data directly on these two forms.  Print hard copy and mail to address shown below.
Consultants Profile Form      Statement of Qualifications

Submit to:

UCSF Capital Programs & Facilities Management
654 Minnesota Street
San Francisco, CA 94143-0894
Attention: Contract Services

UCSF Office of Design & Construction
3333 California Street, Suite 115
San Francisco, CA CA 94143-0913
Attention: Contracts Unit

Upon submission, the Forms will be evaluated by the University.  Respondents who pass the initial screening will be contacted to assess their interest in making brief presentations to project management staff on an as-needed basis.  UCSF will follow established procedures in selecting consultants from the applicant pool.  The estimated amount of each contract may be up to $100,000.  This Notice may result in the award of contracts, but does not commit the University to award any contract for a particular type of project.

B.
If your firm responded to the 2008 Annual Announcement and did not receive a "not Qualified" letter, and wish to remain on the list for the new year, please inform us by letter of your desire to remain on the list by March 31, 2009.  Selections may begin at any time after January 1, 2009 but interested persons and firms may continue to provide Statements of Qualifications thereafter because selections may continue throughout year 2009.
The University will only send notifications if your firm is not qualified to be included in the Applicant Pool.  For any other questions, please contact Beatrix (Trixie) Balais at 415-476-6835 for CPFM or Cristina Lindow at 415-353-4086 for Medical Center Office of Design & Construction.
